What's happening?

BT have announced that in January 2025, they will be permanently switching off the UK's old analogue telephone network.   As such, BT stopped selling any new copper lines in September 2023.

All PSTN & ISDN services will cease.  Everyone (yes everyone, home and business) will need to move to digital solution for their telecoms needs.

How will this impact my business?

This will affect anyone still reliant on traditional fixed landlines, essentially anything on the old analogue copper network.

This isn't just about phones, but could affect your broadband service, lift lines, CCTV, Alarm Systems, Access Control, Utility Meters and many other building management systems.

There's been a huge roll-out of Fibre To The Premises (FTTP) to ensure high speed broadband is available to all, allowing for a quality telecoms calls on your new digital network.

What are my options?

There are plenty of solutions to ensure you're ready for the shutdown.  The key is to act before the big panicked rush.

Get in touch and we'll evaluate exactly what's going to be affected, and how we can help you migrate to the new digital network.  You can even retain your existing phone numbers!

The sooner you act, the smoother the transition will be with the minimum impact to the running of your business or building.
